Production Logo Results
The following show the answers to the survey I created in order to gain ideas for our logo, we only needed to ask 2 simple questions in order to gage what we should do for our logo to look the best and interest the correct audience.
As you can see this question was answered as we wanted it to be, we wanted to use either a heart shape or a mix, however from the results we can see that no one was interested in the idea of having a mix of shapes as the logo. We decided to go with a heart shape because of how well it was received and the fact that we wanted it to be a love heart as well.
Secondly, we asked what colour they would prefer for the logo to be, our main colour we wanted to use was blue, however we feel that the audience have made a good choice with pink because of the connotations of the colour matching with the romantic comedy genre. As a result of our questionnaire we decided to go with pink because it was the clear favourite amongst the audience and it suits better with our genre.
In conclusion this survey helped us to discover what the audience were interested when it came to colours for our logo, this also helps us because we now know the most popular colours to be used in our other work, for example the magazine, poster and even the colours in our trailer.
