The slides above show our planning and strategy we went through before we were able to actually begin filming. The different stages helped us to prepare for the different shots we would be re-creating. As we were meant to be re-creating as many scenes as possible we chose to do every one that we could achieve, the only ones we didn't do were the fire scenes and glass smashing, simply because of the danger of performing that in a school.
Although not mandatory we also wanted to try and get similar looking actors also wearing similar looking clothes, we just thought this would give us an edge because of our attention to detail. This is why we took screenshots from the films trailer to get accurate wardrobe choices.
As well as re creating the trailer I also made my own version of the official poster, considering the real poster has a backdrop of a house, I went another direction and kept the main character as the focus, keeping the text the same so that people would recognise the official text and link it to the same film. I used two pictures and layered them so that I could edit the sky behind him without changing his colour. The clouds have a darkened effect with tweaks to the main colour as well because it was a very sunny day when I took the pictures therefore required more editing. After that I then edited the picture of Adam to make him almost blend into the background but be lurking in the corner of the poster. I had him at a high angle shot to make the audience intimidated by him, they instantly know that he's going to be the 'villain' in the film as he comes across strong and over powering.
