Our final magazine cover came out slightly different to how we wanted it to be but we kept the same sort of ideas. Instead of having them stood up we had them sat down but still taking up the same amount of the frame so they are the focus.

We are happy with our magazine cover as it shows them being happy and similar to how actors are on the covers of magazines such as OK! and Hello, they want to appear to get along and show how much fun they had shooting the film.

In order to create the magazine cover we used the rule of thirds, we split the page into sections so that we could place things within the focus points that the eyes are naturally drawn too.

We wanted to place their faces in those spaces because we felt that was the most poignant thing on the cover as new actors.

As well as this we needed to incorporate the film titles into the magazine cover as the name of the magazine is already in the usual place.

Even though we had a solid idea of what we wanted our film poster to be, when we came to shoot it we had some difficulties of taking the picture the exact way we wanted.

However we did not want to give up therefore we took some test shots in the way we had designed and then I decided to experiment and just try other things.

In the end I am really happy with what I have produced, I think that using the desk and playing on the characters has made the cover look different and interesting.

The film poster needed to be something different and interesting in order for it to stand out against other similar ones.

We decided to have the typical features; names; title and tagline, but then we wanted an image that would be slightly different, we knew we didn't want a close up as that was quite stereotypical in films such as Silver Linings Playbook.

This is why we came up with the idea that we've got with Casey pushing Toby away, this is different and also described our film perfectly.
