Lighting Tests
The following are different types of lighting being tested on similar shots.
As a rom com we knew we wanted to have mood lighting using warm colours, this is because we wanted it to look cosy and warm. This would make the film look more inviting and appealing to the audience.
As well as this we wanted to have darker lighting for scenes with intimacy, this is why we chose to look at an inside location with less natural and mostly artificial light.
This final shot is my favourite type of lighting, the fact that it is using white shows the bright coloured clothing and helps make the characters stand out but doesn't flush them out.
